Light Roast – Lieutenant’s Light

• Tasting Notes: Citrus, milk chocolate, cream
• Light roast beans produce a milder-tasting coffee with low acidity. The beans are roasted until the first crack, resulting in a lighter color with no surface oil. This roast is retains much of the bean’s original flavors.

Medium Roast – Guard’s Grounds

• Tasting Notes: Brazil nut, grapefruit, oak
• Medium roast beans offer a balance between the bean’s original flavors and the roast’s characteristics. These beans are medium-brown with minimal surface oil, providing a well-rounded, aromatic flavor with a balanced acidity.

Dark Roast – Captain’s Coffee

• Tasting Notes: Smoky raspberry, dark chocolate, anise
• Dark roast beans are easily recognized by their dark brown or blackish color and oily texture. These beans deliver robust coffee flavors, making them ideal for espresso with their bold, deep, and smooth taste with minimal acidity.
