Our three main coffees (Lieutenants Light, Guards Grounds, and Captains Coffee) are all single origin from the Minas Gerais Region of Brazil. Sourced from four different farms: Boa Vista, Fazenda Furnas, Mato Cipo, and Apostolo Simao.
At the moment no, we do not have seasonal or temporary blends. Maybe in the future, but for now we sell only three roasts; our Dark Roast (Captains Coffee), Medium Roast (Guards Grounds), and Light Roast (Lieutenants Light).
We donate a portion of our proceeds to charities supporting correctional workers with mental health and PTSD treatment; honoring and uplifting those who protect us. We donate for every purchase to Desert Waters to help with that support.

Yes we offer a coffee subscription with a 5% discount on pricing for subscription purchases. We offer this on the three main coffees in the store.
We roast-to-order as much as possible, or we only ship coffee that has been roasted within a few days of your order (often after your order). This commitment ensures you receive your coffee at its peak freshness, providing the best possible flavor and aroma.
Because we prioritize freshness and small-batch roasting, orders typically ship within 1-3 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.
We do not offer flavored coffee. All of our coffees are considered specialty-grade coffee and have their own naturally occurring flavors that we strive to emphasize through our rigorous selection and roasting processes. Adding an artificial or even natural liquid flavoring to our coffee would diminish the beautiful flavors inherent in the bean.
We purchased this coffee using Bellwether’s Living Income Pricing benchmark, which ensures that coffee producers were paid a fair, sustainable wage. By buying this coffee, you are helping to interrupt poverty among coffee farmers by paying a price that closes the living income gap.
We are a small-batch coffee roaster. This means we roast our beans in smaller quantities more frequently. This precise, hands-on approach allows us to control the roast profile meticulously, ensuring maximum freshness and consistency in every batch. We aim to bring out the best, most complex flavors in the bean.
